As part of the fresh food team you will be responsible for counter preparation, serving and assisting the manager in the day to day running of the fresh meat dept. in the store.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a meat counter or butchers is essential, with a proven passion for food.
Strong knowledge of meat products and experience using cutting equipment is essential.
Must have full understanding of HACCP/food safety requirements in a fresh food service area.
Must have strong customer service skills and comfortable interacting with and advising customers on products, cook times etc.
