As part of the Harlech Foodservice Group, Bwydlyn butchery are looking to recruit keen and enthusiastic butchers to work from their wholesale butchery premises at Parc Amaeth Llanystumdwy.

Due to the changes and impact caused by the Covid pandemic we are re-structuring our operation to ensure we are fulfilling orders at the right time for the customers needs and demands, this is why we are looking for butchers to join our night shift butchery operation.

As a butcher you will help and assist the butchery team to work more effectively. You will be tasked with all aspects of the butchery role (cutting, portion control and consistency as well as being mindful of reducing waste) as well as ensuring all goods that leave the premises are scanned and allocated accurately. A key part of the role will be to ensure that work areas are maintained and cleaned to a very high standard to meet expected hygiene standards and audit inspections at all times.

We are seeking applicants looking for full time positions, however we will also consider applications from butchers who may be looking for part time employment. We are linked to and have the support of a well-known training provider who specialises in all aspects of butchery, therefore continuous training and development will be on-going for the successful candidates.

In terms of start dates, we are looking for successful applicants to join us as soon as possible. Current shift pattern and expected working hours will be approximately 10.00pm to 06.30am, covering 5 out of 7 shifts across the week.

COVID-19 considerations:
