We are looking for experienced Commercial Butchers to handle the day to day running of Jones, the Butcher. You will work alongside the owners to develop and implement different processes and procedures to increase the productivity of the butchery.
You will need to make sure that you are all over the legal requirements that come with managing a fresh food business and you will need to make sure that these standards are delivered consistently and that your team know the expectations required too.
You will be responsible for managing our small staff of 9 and product development.
Previous butchery experience is essential. Management experience is preferred.
Commercial awareness and the understanding of yields and costs.
Proven ability to manage profit and loss margins.
Excellent customer service and cutting skills
Experience of working with carcases and knowledge of businesses within your local area is an advantage but not essential.
Driving license is favourable but not essential.
