Meatex is a leading wholesale food trading company, with offices in Seaford, Telford, and Grimsby. We provide top-quality products to businesses of all sizes across the UK and Europe. Due to our ambitious expansion plans, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our team at the Seaford office.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing Sales Executive with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth. If you have a proven track record in sales and business development, we want to hear from you!
Location:
Seaford, East Sussex (BN25), a beautiful seaside town located between Brighton and Eastbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- B2B Sales: Proactively drive and develop sales within the frozen food sector, managing orders, and building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Customer Portfolio: Establish, maintain, and grow your own customer base.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets by successfully growing business from both new and existing accounts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
- Business Development: Create new opportunities and expand our footprint in the market.
Key Qualifications / Experience:
- B2B Food Sales: Proven experience in a B2B sales environment within the food sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with protein-based products such as meat, fish, or similar.
- Tech-Savvy: Competent with MS Office and CRM systems.
- Outgoing Personality: Must possess strong communication skills, a friendly and engaging telephone manner, and the ability to connect with people effortlessly.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at interacting with customers and colleagues, building trust, and fostering positive relationships.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to Travel: Open to UK and European travel as needed.
- Organised & Punctual: Must be detail-oriented and reliable.
- Ambitious: Driven by success and ready to seize every sales opportunity.
