Our ambitious company continues to grow and expand into new areas, with the Head office in Seaford, East Sussex and two factories in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. We supply businesses of all shapes and sizes across the UK and Europe.

We are proud be opening the doors to our new offices in Telford, Shropshire, in January 2022.

Based centrally, just a five minute walk from the train station with easy access from Birmingham and Shrewsbury, we are looking for likeminded Sales professionals to join the team!

We are searching for enthusiastic, motivated people to join our team, to assist in driving sales forward and to continue providing our customers with the high standard of service they have come to expect.

No industry experience needed as we will teach you the Meatex way!

Location –

Grosvenor House, Hollinswood Rd, Telford TF2 9TW

Key responsibilities –

  • Drive and develop sales within the Meat & Poultry sector, kick start customer database is provided to help hit the ground running.
  • Develop strong business relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Work with the team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Liaise with suppliers, process orders and work with the team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer base through the provision of excellent service to both existing and new customers.

Key qualifications / experience –

  • A proven track record in sales, not essential but preferred.
  • Be a proactive self starter, have good computer skills, and good people skills.
  • Able to work using own initiative as well as being part of the team.
  • Strong communication skills including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to produce own leads.
  • Will have the drive and commitment to seek every possible sales opportunity.
  • Pro-active, ambitious, and ready to make a difference.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. Excellent prospects for the right person.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. No weekends.
