Salary: A competitive rate of pay reflective of experience
We are one of North Easts largest catering butchers supplying meat to local authorities, retail outlets, healthcare authorities and private industries.
You will be working within a large team of butchers, packers, pickers and production operatives.
Your role will include packing meat, boning meat, cutting meat to customer specifications and picking orders. The volume of butchery is extremely high and can be challenging at times so we will need someone with experience in working in a fast paced and busy environment.
Hours of work are 40-44 per week, typical opening hours of work and shifts are shown below: Monday - Friday 6 am - 3 pmSaturday morning - 6 am - 10 amIf you are rota'd to work Saturday morning you will be given 1/2 day throughout week unless we will need to you to work through the week.
Previous experience of working with meat is essential and applicants must be hardworking, team player and willing to show flexibility to role and working hours.
