Role: Production Operative (night shift)
Shift: 10pm – 6am, Monday to Friday
Salary: £29,341.83 (including allowances)
The role
You’ll work in our production facility, helping us to make nourishing pet food.
You’ll need to:
· Be prepared to work with raw meat materials
· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Be capable of manual handling tasks (including moving raw materials)
· Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in order to follow procedures safely and efficiently
· Be able to work to deadlines
· Maintain hygiene standards – we are a food factory. Full training will be given to work to expected standards
The role will also involve:
· Operating certain machines such as bin lifts and mixers; training will be provided
· Carrying out pre-start checks on your area of responsibility to verify our safe ways of workings are being adhered to
· Recording of data electronically on factory floor touch screens as well as some paper-based documents (this requires good written English)
· Identifying opportunities for improvement and keeping waste to a minimum
