Carcass Loading Operative
Pay: up to £12.90
Hours: 4am till 12.30pm
Shift: Monday to Friday
C&K Meats is a world-class pork producer operation based in Eye, near Diss. The business is part of the hugely successful CPC Foods in the UK and the international food company Tönnies.
We are now recruiting for a new Carcass Loading Operative to join our growing team in our despatch department. As a Carcass Loading Operatives you will ensure the smooth running of the loading bay, enabling us to meet the needs of the business and retain high levels of customer service.
C&K Meats is an exciting place to work. Recent team events have included a hog roast, afternoon tea and a visit from Mr Whippy. More is planned for 2023 and we will continue working hard to make sure our colleagues feel valued.
Main duties will include:
- Loading and unloading carcasses is the main duty in this early shift role
- Picking and packing products
- Scanning pallets in and out
- Stock rotation
- Performing other duties as required
- Driving Shunter Truck, training where required will be provided
Who are we looking for?
- Great organisational skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Previous experience working in a loading bay or warehouse is preferred, however, full training can be given to the right candidate

- Hourly rate £12.90 per hour with shunter licence £11.90 until trained (Full UK driving licence required for shunter training)
- Overtime will be paid for hours worked above 45, at a rate of time and a half
