The Role
As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing a full range of meat and poultry products to a high professional standard. This is a hands-on role requiring strong knife skills and previous experience in a butchery environment.
You may be asked to demonstrate your skills as part of the recruitment process through a knife skills test.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Prepare a full range of meat and poultry products

Use knives and butchery equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation

Work to customer specifications and business standards

Support production flow across day or night shifts
Shift Patterns Available
Night Shift:

Typically 9:00pm to 5:00am
-
Options for 4 nights per week or 5 nights per week

Saturday night is non-working
Day Shift:
-
Monday to Friday

1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Flexible hours available
-
Part-time option available, including 4-day working week
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful, you will need:

Proven experience working as a butcher

Strong knife skills
-
Experience preparing meat and poultry products

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to complete a knife skills assessment if required
