Taste Tradition Ltd was established in 2004 as a diversification from the family farming business. Taste Tradition Ltd specialises in the rearing and supply of Rare Breed Meat to the wholesale and catering industries, offering a niche, high quality product with a ‘gate to plate’ provenance. Taste Tradition Ltd operates from a meat cutting plant on the outskirts of Ripon.
Due to sustained growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, hardworking individual within our butchery team. The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced butcher who is skilled at de-boning, preparation and cutting of meat from carcass to a high standard.
Job Description.
* De-boning, preparation and cutting of meat from carcass to a high standard.
* Awareness of quality control and portion control.
* Working as part of a team to dispatch orders in a timely manner.
* Helping with cleaning and other general duties.
Essential Skills
Positive, proactive person with a ‘can do attitude’ who is willing to adapt and grow with the company.
Salary is dependent on experience.
Mon- Fri (including Bank holidays on rota system).
Own Transport will be required due to the rural location. In the ideal setting to be accessed from Ripon, Thirsk, Northallerton and York.
