About the role
As a Skilled Butcher, you will have good product knowledge, cutting and preparation skills, and high customer service standards. You will be able to prepare orders according to customer’s needs and understand stock control processes and procedures well.
Responsible for supporting the Butchery sales and profit by working closely with the Butchery Manager and the department team, working with your customers, and ensuring that we continue to provide the highest customer service standards and comply with health & safety and legal standards at all times. It would be best if you were customer-driven, organised, and an excellent communicator with experience within the butchery trade.
Main Responsibilities
As part of the team in the Butchery Department, you may also be responsible for running the department in the Butchery Manager’s absence. You will follow company standard ways of always working and comply with food safety and health and safety legislative requirements.
The working hours/pattern of this role will be discussed and confirmed during the interview. Please note that we are a seven-day operation.
