Shift Pattern: Day shift, 4 on / 4 off (06:00 – 18:00)

This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work within a customer-focused production team. As a result, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality, yield, and food safety standards.
The Role
As a Butcher / Skilled Knife Hand, you will carry out core processing tasks to the highest standard. You will focus on delivering consistent quality while meeting yield and performance targets.
In addition, you will work closely with the Team Leader to identify issues, resolve problems, and share ideas for improvement. At the same time, you will have access to further training to develop your skills if you wish to progress.
Because this role is practical and fast-paced, attention to detail and safe knife handling are essential.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Process product to required quality and specification standards

Achieve target yields while minimising waste

Follow all health and safety and food hygiene requirements

Work closely with the Team Leader to identify issues and improvements

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working area
As a result, your work will directly support production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be reliable, safety-conscious, and confident working with knives in a production environment.
Importantly, you will bring:

Previous experience in a similar butcher or skilled knife hand role (preferred)

A strong understanding of health and safety regulations

Good attention to detail and pride in your work

A positive, team-focused attitude
