Job requirements of Shift Manager:
We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our established team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye. You will be accountable for leading the operations Team.
Shift Pattern Monday-Friday from 17.10-1:40
Duties
- They will be responsible to mentor and develop their team members and ensure safe and cost effective practices are adopted.
- Produce product Safely and to the required standards of Quality, Hygiene and efficiency.
- Factory variances and overheads. (Focus on Labour standards and yields)
- Accountable for the profit and loss accounts of the unit with focus on conversion costs.
- Team leaders – Direct reports working in line with Engineering, Technical, Training and Hygiene teams.
- Optimum staffing levels to be achieved based on company labour plans to deliver on target labour costs and strategic profit improvement plans.
- Responsible for the managing, training, developing and motivating the team including absence management, performance issues, individual performance reviews and interview processes.
Report to the Shift/Operations Manager immediately any occurrence that could affect the finances or security of the Company or put its name into disrepute
What you will need:
- Experience within a similar role and/or FMCG environment.
- Strong IT skills.
- Minimum of 1 year’s management experience
Desirable:
Level 2 Food safety and hygiene
IOSH managing safely training
Food Safety Level
Food Manufacturing NVQ level2/3
