Role Purpose

Work in Packing Area, performing precision functions involving the preparation of offal products for packing to customer specifications. Work may include specialized packing tasks, cutting of offal to customer specifications. Use of OCM labelling Scales and Scanning Operations.

 

Standard working week is Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week, starting at 7pm (need to be flexible with finish time).

No previous experience needed as all training will be provided.

 

Main duties and role requirements:

 

  • Pick, pack, weigh, scan all offal products to set out plan requirements.
  • Liaise with Slaughter Supervisor on Daily/weekly requirements.
  • Work with site Technical department to ensure compliance to site procedures and customer specifications.
  • Stock movement from one location to another so that the product is ready for despatch.
  • Placing bags properly on the Cryovac machine.
  • Sealing blue plastic bags on freezer line.
  • Completing assigned task in a timely manner to meet daily targets.
  • Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.

  • Experience within the Food Industry beneficial
