Production Administrator | Cardington

Hours of Work: 42.5 hours per week, Permanent Full-Time (Mon-Fri) – 6am to 3pm with occasional overtime available.

Rate of Pay: £11.70 per hour plus bonus, rising to £12.35 plus bonus after successful completion of probation period.

We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team, within our Production team as a Production Administrator.

The successful candidate will support the efficient operation of the Boning Hall, so that we deliver products of highest quality to our customers. During your onboarding (typically 3-6 months) you will be working across our Packing Area learning the processes on the line before moving into the Production Office. The successful candidate will therefore need to be willing to complete this hands-on training period

• Central point of contact for queries into the Boning Hall.
• Collaborate with planning and production management to create and maintain an efficient production schedule.
• Coordinate with various departments, including planning, despatch, and quality control, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
• Collate information required for daily/weekly KPI reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Responsible for completing paperwork for production.
• Timely day-to-day maintenance of the Card Label Email Inbox and Boning Hall attendance records.
• Maintain a high level of integrity around access to Company information/data.

• Experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment – meat processing experience is desirable.
• Proficient in using IT systems and software.
• Able to prioritise, multitask and remain calm under pressure to strict deadlines.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skill and attention to detail.
