Junior Shift Manager (Nights) — Cranswick Country Foods, Hull
Junior Shift Manager Hull role available with Cranswick Country Foods at the Riverside site.
Role overview
In this role, you will support the Shift Manager and help oversee retail production during night shifts. From day one, you will lead Line Leaders and Operatives, drive production performance and ensure customer requirements meet agreed specifications. As a result, you will play a key part in maintaining yield, quality and efficiency across the department.
Key responsibilities

Supervise retail production to deliver quality products and meet KPIs

Drive production plans to achieve outputs accurately and efficiently

Minimise downtime, waste of raw materials, packaging and consumables

Investigate performance gaps and implement corrective actions

Manage work-in-progress, residuals and end-of-run packs to specification

Ensure on-time deliveries and minimise customer returns

Manage the shift in the absence of the Shift Manager

Continuously improve team performance and departmental standards

Take responsibility for food safety, legality, integrity and quality

Ensure compliance with CCP monitoring, glass controls, complaints and paperwork
What you’ll bring
You bring experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within a factory or warehouse environment. In addition, you have a proven track record of leading teams, working to KPIs and delivering results. You communicate clearly, use IT systems confidently and remain calm while working in a fast-moving FMCG setting.
Pay, hours and location
This is a full-time, permanent night-shift role based at Cranswick Country Foods Riverside, William Wright Dock, Hull (HU1 2ET).

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (A Shift)

Hours: 17:45–05:45

Average hours: 38.5 per week
