Role overview
You will lead site technical and quality functions, ensuring full compliance with food safety, legal and customer standards. The role involves managing audits, maintaining certifications and working closely with operations, engineering and senior management to uphold technical integrity across the site.
Key responsibilities
Lead food safety, quality and technical compliance on site
Maintain BRCGS and customer audit standards
Manage HACCP systems, specifications and risk assessments
Lead and develop the site technical team
Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions
Liaise with customers, regulators and internal stakeholders
Support continuous improvement and technical best practice
What you’ll bring
You have proven experience as a Technical Manager or Senior QA professional within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and food safety legislation is essential. You’re confident leading teams, managing audits and communicating at senior level. Poultry or high-risk food experience is advantageous.
