Despatch Operative — C&K Meats, Eye (Near Diss)
Despatch Operative Eye roles are available with C&K Meats, a world-class pork producer based in Eye, near Diss. This vacancy is advertised via the Meatex Jobs Board and offers early-morning weekday hours within a busy food manufacturing and logistics operation.
Role overview
In this role, you will support the smooth running of the despatch and loading bay operation. From day one, you will help ensure products are picked, packed and moved efficiently so customer orders are delivered on time. As a result, you will play a key part in maintaining high service levels across the business.
Key responsibilities

Pick and pack finished products accurately

Scan pallets in and out of the system

Maintain effective stock rotation

Load and unload vehicles, including heavy lifting of carcasses

Support general despatch and warehouse duties as required

Operate a shunter truck once trained
What you’ll bring
You bring strong organisational skills, good numeracy and a reliable work ethic. Previous experience in a warehouse or loading bay environment is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided. In addition, you must hold a full UK driving licence, work well as part of a team and be comfortable with physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Pay, hours and location
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Eye, near Diss (IP23).

Hours: Monday to Friday, 02:00–09:30

Pay: £13.14 per hour, increasing to £14.14 per hour once a shunter licence is completed

Early start shift allowance paid daily

Overtime paid at time and a half for hours worked over 45
