Strong Demand and Tight Supplies Support Irish Beef Market

Firm demand for beef, combined with tight cattle supplies in Ireland and key export destinations, continues to underpin the Irish beef market, according to the Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA).

The IFA reports that reduced availability of finished cattle is helping to support trade conditions, even as wider market uncertainty persists. Lower supplies at farm level, alongside constrained numbers across major export markets, are limiting downward price pressure and reinforcing Ireland’s position in international beef trade.
