Role overview
You will work within the Lamb and Beef Boning Departments, packing meat products accurately and efficiently to meet daily production plans. The role is hands-on and fast paced, with a strong focus on teamwork, hygiene and food safety.
Key responsibilities

Work effectively as part of a production team to meet daily plans

Pack meat into the correct boxes and packaging

Move packed products to designated areas of the factory

Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas

Wear full PPE at all times (provided)

Carry out additional reasonable duties as required
What you’ll bring
You are reliable, punctual and comfortable working at pace in a factory environment. Previous experience in food production or packing is helpful but not essential, as training is provided. You can work well within a team, follow instructions accurately and are available to start immediately.
Pay, hours and location
This is a full-time, permanent role based at Kepak St Merryn, Merthyr Tydfil. Working hours start at 5:30am–6:00am, Monday to Friday, with a variable finish depending on production volumes. Pay rate is £12.40 per hour.
