Our site at Langport is located in the heart of the Southwest of England in Somerset countryside (TA10 9HG), we are currently recruiting for the ideal candidate to join our Packing Team as a Packing Operative.

Role definition:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Packing Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 Pack products according to company standards and customer requirements.

 Inspect items for quality and report any defects.

 Label and prepare goods for dispatch.

 Maintain a clean and organized work area.

 Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

• Strong attention to detail

• Great team ethic and a flexible approach to work

• The ability to work in this physically demanding role

Desirable

• Previous factory experience

Schedule:

Day Shift Schedule

• Working Days: 4 days per week

• Shift Hours: 06:00 – 18:00

• Rolling Rest Day: One weekday off, rotating Monday through Friday

Example Rotation:

• Week 1: Monday – Rest Day

• Week 2: Tuesday – Rest Day

• Week 3: Wednesday – Rest Day

• Week 4: Thursday – Rest Day

• Week 5: Friday – Rest Day

Reporting to: Boning Hall Production Manager

Rate: Piece Rate
