The Role

Sofina Foods is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our production team. This is a hands-on role where your focus on quality, efficiency, and hygiene will directly contribute to delivering premium food products to our customers.

£14.40 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities

• Cutting and trimming meat to exact specifications
• Adjusting machinery settings to meet product requirements
• Inspecting products for quality, including size, weight, colour, and packaging
• Identifying faults and resolving or reporting issues promptly
• Preparing goods for dispatch, including packing, labelling, and wrapping
• Supporting goods in/goods out processes
• Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Performing additional tasks as trained and required
• Manage stock control
• Operating machines to mince the meat
• Operating machines to mix
• Scanning products

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong communication skills with the capability to communicate confidently internally & externally
• Good team working skills with ability to participate in a team atmosphere through hard work, calmness, tolerance and consistency.
• Able to work within an agreed established framework and cope with pressure, taking responsibility for decisions and able to work unsupervised and on their own initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to report accurately.
• Excellent people skills, ability to listen and accept and learn from constructive criticism.
• Tactical thought process, able to challenge convention and identify alternative ways of working.
• Relationship builder with the ability to build and develop strong personal relationships with the customer and internally within the company.
• Experience with scanning and IT systems
• High levels of professionalism, integrity and ethical awareness.
• Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks.
