Maintenance Manager | Bodmin

The role-

• To ensure all machinery and services are maintained to meet individual department requirements, utilising the companies chosen Planned Maintenance system 
• Purchase of engineering items.
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Utilities management
• Recording the value of the assets
• Ensure the most effective/efficient utilisation of department resources, labour and machinery
• Ensure a minimum 90% CMMS utilisation for all primal/services engineers
• Ensure the department meets agreed continuous improvement targets
• Ensure control of engineering contractors and special projects
• Operate to Company Best Practice, deliver and draw up planned maintenance schedules and practices in co-operation with the Group Engineering Manager
• Ensure the site complies with all applicable Engineering based legislation and adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production
• Implement Company and site Policy to ensure the adherence on all matters concerning Health and Safety and General Housekeeping
• Help in the development of and maintenance of business interruption & recovery plans

Personal specification-

• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a background involving maintenance of a busy production line involving both mechanical and electrical machinery.
• The candidate will enjoy challenging, problem-solving roles and be ideally suited to a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
• Must have full mechanical/electrical engineering qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role is required
• Good knowledge of asset integrity, with strong project management skill
