Suffolk Farming Business Acquires Huntsham Heritage Meats
Huntsham Heritage Meats Acquired by Suffolk Farming Business
Rare-breed meat supplier Huntsham Heritage Meats has been acquired by Suffolk based farming business David Black & Son, trading as Blacks of Bacton.
The deal secures the future of the premium pork, beef and lamb producer, which has built a strong reputation supplying Michelin-starred restaurants.
Founded by Richard and Rosamund Vaughan, Huntsham is known for its Middle White pork, Longhorn beef and Ryeland lamb, with a focus on traditional breeds and provenance.
The business will continue to operate under the Huntsham Heritage Meats name, maintaining its established brand within the premium food sector.
Blacks of Bacton, which has farmed in Suffolk since 1898, said the acquisition supports its strategy to expand in high-quality, provenance-led meat production.
