Job requirements of Night Loading Bay Chargehand
To oversee loading bay operations and day to day activities.
Rotating and organizing stock within the chilled storage areas.
Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Correct receipting of goods.
Picking orders in correct date order to ensure stock rotation is correct
Keep up to date with changes to products and their packaging to enable efficient order picking
Carry out the day to day manual handling that is required
Leading the Loading Bay team and being the first point of contact for support.
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday
Hours: 16.00pm – 00.15am
What you will need
You must be able to motivate your team
Ability to prioritise workloads
Ideally you will have experience of team leading within a fast paced, food production environment
Possess high standards of work
Pay and benefits
Salary – £17.36
Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus
Overtime – time and a third after contracted hours
Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
