ABP Bridge of Allan is recruiting Abattoir Operatives to join its processing team. This role is open to both skilled and unskilled candidates, with full training provided. You’ll work across a range of abattoir operations, with opportunities to rotate roles and become multi-skilled over time.
Key Responsibilities
As an Abattoir Operative, you will:

Process cattle in line with health & safety and animal welfare standards

Carry out tasks such as stunning, flanking, legging, trimming, back saw operation, hide removal, and preparatory trimming
-
Work as part of a team to meet food safety legislation and customer specifications
-
Meet production deadlines while maximising yield and minimising waste

Maintain high standards of hygiene and contamination control

Take ownership of training and personal development

Carry out duties safely and in accordance with company procedures

Engage fully in training, communication, and continuous improvement
