Support abattoir operations to ensure safe, humane and efficient processing of livestock

Maintain high standards of animal welfare, food safety and product quality
Key responsibilities

Carry out abattoir and primary processing tasks in line with SOPs
-
Assist with slaughter and preparation activities as trained

Handle carcasses and by-products safely and correctly

Maintain strict adherence to animal welfare standards

Follow food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures

Support production targets while maintaining quality standards

Keep work areas clean, safe and compliant

Work effectively as part of the abattoir team

Previous experience in abattoir or meat processing environments (preferred but not essential)
