About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will focus on maintaining and strengthening relationships across an established portfolio of customers, while supporting growth through new business success.
This is a people-led sales role where strong planning, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills combine with excellent communication. Fresh thinking, accountability and relationship building are central to success.
Working closely with your Business Development Manager, you will help identify opportunities, respond to changing customer needs and support the wider strategy to grow the Bidfresh footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing relationships with existing customers

Supporting new business growth alongside the Business Development Manager

Planning and implementing customer-focused sales tactics

Identifying opportunities to improve service, value and retention

Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues

Managing workload effectively and taking ownership of results

Measuring and reviewing performance against targets

Supporting the execution of wider commercial strategies
Skills and Experience
You will ideally bring:

Sales or customer service experience, preferably within the food industry

Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Confidence working to targets and performance measures

A structured, organised approach to planning and follow-up

Ability to question effectively and solve problems pragmatically

Professional telephone manner with strong written communication skills

Accountability, reliability and ownership of workload
