We’re not just a factory – we’re a houmous haven, a sanctuary for taste buds everywhere! From classic chickpea to spicy jalapeno, we’re on a mission to delight customers with our delicious dips. And we need a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure that every tub is a triumph!

Your role:

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning, reliability, and performance of our automated systems and equipment. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation technologies, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.

Key Duties

  • Provide technical direction and make logical decisions that align with the production plan.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and tests on automation systems, identifying and addressing potential issues to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with the production and engineering teams to maintain a deep understanding of the automated processes and equipment, ensuring rapid response to production needs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, errors, and malfunctions in automation systems, utilising diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, sensors, actuators, motors, and other automation-related equipment to restore optimal functionality.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and robotics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, sensors, actuators, and motor drives.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of programming languages used in industrial automation, such as ladder logic and structured text.
  • Familiarity with automation software and tools specifically Siemens S7.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • Siemens S7 Training or experience
  • Robotics Programming or experience
