At our site in Watergrasshill, Cork, we are actively looking for a Boning Hall Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team as well as manage and coordinate production within the Boning Hall.

 

This is a full time, permanent position which will report into the Boning Hall Manager

 

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that quality targets are achieved for key customers
  • Co-ordinate order processing to ensure that service levels are of the highest standard
  • Complete work in the most efficient manner
  • Control staff movements within department to ensure accurate work records
  • Implement and enforce all Group HR Policies
  • Implement and enforce all Group Health and Safety policies
  • Minimise waste in relation to packaging
  • Minimise energy use
  • Participate fully in continuous improvement system
  • Maintain good relationships with other functions within the factory and maximise cross-functional workings to deliver the best overall result possible.

 

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

  • Quality complaints of key customers
  • Service levels of key accounts
  • Variable cost of production
  • Yields

 

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience supervising a team within a FMCG environment. Meat Industry experience would be beneficial
  • Experience drive down costs through innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Confidence to make on the spot decisions
