At our site in Watergrasshill, Cork, we are actively looking for a Boning Hall Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team as well as manage and coordinate production within the Boning Hall.
This is a full time, permanent position which will report into the Boning Hall Manager
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure that quality targets are achieved for key customers
- Co-ordinate order processing to ensure that service levels are of the highest standard
- Complete work in the most efficient manner
- Control staff movements within department to ensure accurate work records
- Implement and enforce all Group HR Policies
- Implement and enforce all Group Health and Safety policies
- Minimise waste in relation to packaging
- Minimise energy use
- Participate fully in continuous improvement system
- Maintain good relationships with other functions within the factory and maximise cross-functional workings to deliver the best overall result possible.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Quality complaints of key customers
- Service levels of key accounts
- Variable cost of production
- Yields
Requirements
- Must have previous experience supervising a team within a FMCG environment. Meat Industry experience would be beneficial
- Experience drive down costs through innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Confidence to make on the spot decisions
