We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Commercial team.
This role will specifically work within a our Food to Go & Retail Channel and has been identified as a key growth area for Kepak Foods Division over the next 5 years.
Territory: Northern Ireland
Reporting to: National Account Manager – Food To Go & Retail
The Business Development Executive will be required to gain a good understanding of the FTG & Retail market and develop a customer base with a specific focus on the Kepak branded portfolio ( Rustlers & Big Als Range).
This will involve developing strong relationships with key End-Users and working closely with the relevant Distributor partners including visiting FTG Sites & delis in the Eurospar, Spar, Centra, Supervalu & Independent retailer estates.
Key Responsibilities
- To achieve designated business targets & KPIs within your region.
- To identify key customer targets and develop a robust engagement plan to deliver.
- To work collaboratively with the distributors’ sales teams to ensure all opportunities are maximised.
- To develop and successfully implement joint business plans for End-Users and Distributors.
- To develop strong business relationships across your region.
- To utilise all analytical tools and marketing support in order to help achieve the business objectives.
- To ensure all End-Users’ requests are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- To demonstrate all products to end users & distributors, high-lighting features and benefits.
- To work closely with the internal Kepak stakeholders to ensure all business development initiatives are executed to the highest standard.
- To gather and feedback market intelligence (e.g. competitor activity, etc.) on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Experience within the FTG / Retail Sector : Deli/Retail/Supermarket Sales is desirable
- 3yrs full-time Field-sales experience desirable
- Full clean drivers licence
- Computer literate
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn
- Problem solving
- Commercial acumen.
