Experienced Butcher to Manage the Shop
An enthusiastic and competent butcher who takes pride in their work and can present their butchering to a consistently high standard.You will thrive on working hard in a friendly and busy team being able to cope under pressure during busy periods.Physically fit as it is a demanding role with the ability to cut meat from the carcass.
Experience & knowledge of working with Beef, Pork, Lamb & Poultry from a carcass to present for a window display or manufacturing production with good knife skills & attention to detail.
Responsibilities will include :
Ordering & managing stock
Boning out of meat for sale or manufacturing
The production of Sausages, Haslets & PorkPies
The preparation for curing & slicing our own Bacon
Excellent Customer Sales
Food Hygiene & Safety procedures
Cleaning Duties

Picks Butchers is a small award winning tradition Butchers specialising in quality produce predominantly from Lincolnshire located in the picturesque village of Dorrington 6 miles from the town of Sleaford.You will be joining a friendly hard working team which is proud of the high standard of customer service it provides.
Candidates must be located in the UK close to Lincolnshire or willing to relocate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
