Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team in a bustling supermarket environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for butchery and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
– Prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications
– Ensure all meats are handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations
– Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
– Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the butchery area
– Provide excellent customer service by offering advice on meat selection and cooking techniques
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role within a supermarket
– Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cuts of meat
– Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
