We currently have a vacancy for an experienced manager to join the team here at Grants.

Responsibilities of the job include:
- Overseeing Butchery department and ensuring that all paperwork is present and correct.
- Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual downtime reports
- Identifying any faulty factory production equipment for procurement and taking responsibility for its maintenance
- Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
- Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself
- Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies
- Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management
- Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
- Training and coaching Butchery department team members
- Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements
- Liaising with Planner on forward production schedules
- Assessing resource requirements
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Liaising with Buyer and marketing and sales staff
- Organising relevant training sessions.
- Maintaining track of all stock- and ensuring adequate stock rotation.

Candidates should have a good knowledge of working with Raw Meat, and will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team to achieve all KPI’s required in a timely manner. You will have the full support of the Supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the shift and to ensure the factory is set up and ready for the next day’s production Hygiene wise, and also the correct raw materials in place.
We are a hard-working hands on team, and are looking to build on this.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm.
