We are looking for a fully experienced Butchery manager with enthusiasm and a passion for food and retailing to join our team with excellent customer service skills to drive and develop our business going forward.
This is a permanent full-time position and the job roll is based over 5 days per week. You must have previous experience in the retail meat trade. An ideal candidate for this position would have had managerial hands on experience and customer service experience from a previous fresh food/Meat business- including supermarkets or cash & carry style operations.
As the Butchery Manager it will be your responsibility to lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve target sales, control stock and meet high standards of customer service, displays and hygiene regulations. A polite, efficient and friendly manner is a must, with excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be responsible for encouraging a hardworking and motivated work environment for your team members to work efficiently.
Some hands on work will be required during busy periods and holidays and you must maintain a safe food environment, complying with full HACCP regulations and H&S regulations in a fresh food retail business.
