Butchery Operative | Boston

As a Production Operative, you will be part of a warm and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all products in the Butchery Department are packaged whilst meeting high standards and quality ready for delivery. You will possess a can-do attitude, be an effective team player, have great attention to detail, and be able to work in an organised, methodical and professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Metal detecting
• Boxing and handling
• Collating of orders ready for delivery
• Making pigs in blankets
• Cleaning
• Bagging of burgers, vacuum packing and making up boxes with orders
• Completion of paperwork around collation area
• Inputting weights into the computer and updating spreadsheets

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Good attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Able to work within a fast-paced Butchery environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Good written skills and basic computer admin skills
• Positive and calm approach to work
