Overview
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work as part of the Commercial Department providing administrative support. You will gain a wide range of commercial and business experience skills, through continuous on the job development with coaching and mentoring. Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Data entry for Sales Orders for Retail, Export and Commercial Customers.
- Dealing directly with retail orders: informing planning of quantities required, informing retail or any shortages with as much notice as possible, organising speedy delivery of retail requirements.
- Data entry for Customer orders into Production schedules.
- Informing Logistics on pallet quantities, delivery dates, order details and delivery addresses.
- Updating production trackers and sending to retail sites to inform them of daily production so they can plan volumes accordingly.
- Supporting the updating and devising of Production Plans and circulating as appropriate.
- Dealing with queries from Customers.
- Supporting other members of the Commercial Team.
Qualifications
- A business related degree or equivalent would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of team dynamics, demonstrating the ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team with a professional enthusiastic attitude.
- Able to work on own initiative, but to also as a team member.
- Able to maintain a professional manner with a high attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel.
- Ability to sort out and solve customer queries/issues promptly.
This role is at a rural location with limited public transport links, Therefore having your own transport is essential.
