Cranswick Country Foods is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Commercial Executive to support its Fresh Pork category for Sainsbury’s.

In this key role, you’ll work closely with the National Account Manager, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver strategies that drive category growth, maximise performance, and strengthen partnerships with one of the UK’s leading retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Support & Strategy – Partner with the National Account Manager to support Sainsbury’s, contributing to commercial plans, category growth, and promotional activity.

  • Data Analysis & Insight – Analyse sales, margins, and promotional performance to identify opportunities and optimise results.

  • Customer Engagement – Act as a commercial point of contact for Sainsbury’s, managing queries and supporting customer initiatives.

  • Promotions & Launch Management – Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activity to deliver against KPIs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to align commercial and operational strategies.

  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Maintain accurate account data, track KPIs, and provide insights to drive informed business decisions.


About You

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask.

  • Flexible and able to travel between Hull and Sherburn as required.

  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or meat category management preferred.
