A rare opportunity for an unqualified member of staff has become available to join our family business.
Based on Draycott Business Park in Cam, we have over 30 years experience supplying meat to pubs, restaurants, schools, nurseries, retirement homes, event venues and more recently we also supply to members of the public.
We are looking for a part time Cutting Room Assistant; working hours are typically 5am to 11.30am four days a week from Tuesday to Friday.
The successful applicant will be able to work confidently alone and as part of a team too. Previous experience is not essential and full training will be given, but confidence with technology is helpful!
Duties will include: Booking meat deliveries received onto our cutting room computer system, putting away newly delivered stock and following the screen to help pick/fulfill customer orders. You will be working in a refrigerated area, and there will be heavy lifting involved, so a level of general health and fitness will be required.
With this role, speed is key in order to receive deliveries and enable our butchers to start cutting as quickly as possible.
Salary is to be discussed and will depend on age and previous experience.
