Despatch Lead Supervisor
Monday to Friday, working weekly rotation shifts of 05:00am-13:30pm & 12:00noon-20:30pm

Due to expansion, our Preston site Despatch department are currently recruiting for Lead Supervisor to join their team!
Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for supervising all aspects of all areas within Despatch from delivering a 100% service level and in the predetermined timeframe.
- To ensure planned orders are achieved in full, economically and to the predetermined timeframes.
- Ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum
- Ensure an exceptional level of internal/external customer service through on time deliveries and minimal customer returns
- Liaise with the Despatch Senior Supervisor to identify the correct levels of staff required to fulfil customer demands ensuring that labour costs are kept to a minimum where possible
- Effectively harness, motivate and develop their team in order to reduce staff turnover and encourage maximum productivity
- Conduct CCP checks relevant to the area being worked in and report any none-conformances through the proper processes
- Monitoring KPI and efficiency boards to ensure targets are met
- Provide assistance and support to the supervisors / chargehands when needed
You will have:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or Management position
- Experience working within an FMCG Food Manufacturing environment is advantageous
