Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil operates one of the UK’s most advanced beef and lamb processing sites, supplying top retailers and foodservice customers. We are now seeking reliable and hard-working Despatch Operatives to join our busy logistics team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring all products are correctly picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and product integrity.
Key Responsibilities

Pick and prepare orders accurately for delivery.

Load and unload vehicles safely using manual handling equipment.

Operate scanners and maintain accurate stock control.

Support stock rotation, traceability, and temperature-control procedures.

Work closely with production and logistics teams to meet daily targets.

Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP standards at all times.
About You

Previous experience in despatch, warehouse, or food factory environments preferred.

Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of manual handling.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Good communication and organisational abilities.

Basic IT or scanner-system knowledge desirable.
