Key responsibilities

• Ensure all areas of the factory are clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.

• Dispose of waste appropriately.

• Sweep and wash floors.

• Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies.

• Follow health and safety procedures and policies.

• Pre-wash down areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery as required.

• Operate tray wash equipment.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.

• Deep clean machinery including belts, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, and lights.

• Follow cleaning instruction cards according to the area.

What you’ll bring

Full training will be provided.. Preferred experience within a meat processing or factory environment. Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines and HACCP.

Pay, hours and location

This is a Full-time role based in Bodmin. Pay rates and shift patterns are confirmed at application or shortlist stage and may vary depending on department and production requirements.
