Due to our expanding business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Executive/ Business Development Executive to join our Convenience team!

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets within our established customer base by enhancing current relationships and exploring new business opportunities. You’ll become an expert in the Convenience and Food To Go (FTG) categories. This position requires you to meet key objectives and KPIs while marketing a diverse portfolio of products, including chilled and frozen items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To actively work with Convenience partners to identify and deliver NEW opportunities as directed by line manager, delivering brand distribution targets
  • To execute business strategy driving incremental space in multi-site retailers, Wholesalers, Forecourts and Holiday Parks.
  • Build base knowledge of account management principles eg, budgets, planning process, Gross to Net Margin
  • Develop/build customer relationships as directed Convenience Controller
  • Work with internal and external field team members to drive brand awareness and distribution
  • Be a Kepak Brand ambassador in attendance of events, meetings & networking
  • Develop and deliver JBP’s including quarterly updates for defined key customer lists (Where applicable)
  • To take control of lead tracker to ensure Kepak delivers on Convenience Channel strategy
  • Management of all customer admin requirements including New Line Forms, Samples, Merchandising and Supply Chain Issues.
  • Monthly reporting of achievements reviewed against volume, gross margin and business plan.
  • Promotion management and financial evaluation providing Return on Investment levels.
  • Support on internal projects as directed by line manager including working with NPD and Technical as directed.
  • Take full responsibility of allocated accounts, nurture relationships and increase sales revenues and volume.

Requirements

Education, Experience & Requirements:

  • Degree in Business related discipline or equivalent
  • At least 1 – 2 years work experience in a business development or a field sales role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Full UK driving license – please note this role requires travel to our customers across the UK
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    Excellent time management, relationship building and organisational skills
  • This is a hybrid role and will require to be in our Kirkham Office 2 days a week
