You will be responsible for supporting the business with master data maintenance whilst also providing adhoc support to the finance reporting and ledgers team. This role will be business critical in ensuring data is accurate and reliable in the system, to allow reporting and decisions to be made based upon this.

Attributes/Skills/Competencies

  • Previous experience in data maintenance would be preferred
  • Experience of working in a finance department
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel and SRP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and adhering to agreed time scales
  • Capable of working autonomously when required
  • Ability to think around a problem to develop solutions, and use initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Role/Responsibilities

  • Inputting of master data into our SRP system (Microsoft Navision) accurately and efficiently
  • Maintenance of existing data in the system, ensuring accuracy and integrity by conducting regular reviews and quality checks
  • Thoroughly validating data sent to you for accuracy and completeness
  • Working closely with various departments to gather essential data required for input
  • Assisting with all aspects of ledger administration
  • Support the wider Accounts team with Ad Hoc requests relating to all aspects of the Finance Department.
  • Complete all duties in an accurate and timely manner
