We are on the look out for a Food Benchmarking Officer to join our team on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. This role is essential for arranging, orchestrating, collating, and publishing all things surrounding product panels on appearance, taste, quality, and the customer experience. Perfect if your enthusiastic about food with an eye for detail.
Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Maintenance of a product database to trend organoleptic panels scores and attendance.
- Collection and administration surrounding collection of product samples.
- Preparation and cook of product samples to panel.
- Liaison with wider technical team to support with ongoing investigations or trends.
- Collation, trending, and publication of organoleptic panel data.
- General kitchen and cleaning duties follow product panel.
- Travel and collection of samples from retailer stores.
- Supporting the Technical team with customer visits / site audits.
You will have:
- Prior food industry experience (food technical background advantageous).
- Prior professional kitchen experience or sensory panel training advantageous.
- Reasonable computer literacy in Microsoft.
- Organised with effective, formal, and professional communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to manage challenging situations in a professional manner and seeks amicable solutions.
