The Role
As a General Operator within the Abattoir department, you will support the processing of meat products to Kepak specifications while working safely and efficiently at line speed.
This is a physical, hands-on role in a fast-paced factory environment, where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are key to daily production success.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Produce cuts and trims of meat to Kepak specifications
-
Work efficiently at production line speed
-
Meet daily and weekly production targets
-
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and product quality
-
Operate machinery safely once fully trained
-
Carry out physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
-
Support additional tasks as required by the Line Supervisor

Previous knife skills or butchery experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment are an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
