Key responsibilities

• We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team atKepak Corkas anIndustrial Hygiene & Facilities Operative. As part of our multi-cultural and diverse workforce, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within our Retail production environment.

• This is an essential operational role supporting the smooth and safe running of our facility. You will be responsible for keeping production and the surrounding areas clean, organised, and compliant with food safety and health & safety standards.

• Carrying outindustrial cleaning dutiesacross production areas, including floors, walls, doors, and work zones

• Cleaningproduction equipment and machinery parts(such as sealing heads) and completing clean-downs between product changeovers

• Responding promptly to and cleaning upspillagesto maintain a safe working environment

• Removinggeneral waste and cardboardfrom internal and external areas

• Operating waste-handling equipment such as acardboard balerandgeneral waste compactor(full training provided)

• Using aride-on floor scrubber machineto maintain factory floor cleanliness

• Performingpre-start hygiene and safety checksas required

• Reporting any equipment damage, faults, breakages, or safety concerns to the Line Supervisor

What you’ll bring

Previous experience in industrial cleaning, hygiene, facilities, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial. Experience working in a factory, food production, or other regulated environment is an advantage. Ability to carry out physical duties, including being on your feet for extended periods. A strong awareness of health & safety practices and the importance of workplace hygiene.

Pay, hours and location

This is a Full-time role based in Watergrasshill. Pay rates and shift patterns are confirmed at application or shortlist stage and may vary depending on department and production requirements.
