Here at Kepak Kirkham, Home of Rustlers, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our busy sales team. This will support our High Street Discounters and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers as well as build, implement and deliver the High Street Discounter Strategy.

 

Main duties include:

  • Full P&L account responsibility and delivering the numbers.
  • Establishing and developing business plans to grow existing business and drive new opportunities.
  • Drive visibility across all tiers within the categories, utilising cross-category customer relationships.
  • Manage an agreed shopper marketing budget through in-store and online category/shopper-leading activations.
  • Develop and agree on a promotional/ranging plan in line with business objectives.
  • Monitor and look to improve ROI using promotional and marketing evaluations constantly.
  • Negotiate commercials that will benefit Kepak and the retailer.
  • Manage all aspects, from sales reporting, business planning, forecasting, promotions, and ad terms, including all associated administration and delivery, in a timely manner.
  • Manage communication with internal key stakeholders.
  • Manage account debt within agreed limits.

 

 

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years experience working in a similar commercial role, preferably FMCG retail
  • Must have previous account management experience ideally within retail sales
  • Have strong relationship building skills across all levels and influencing internal & external stakeholders
  • Full Driving License
  • IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • Presentation Skills
