Commercial Trading Manager — Huntingdon
Commercial Trading Manager Huntingdon roles are available with a global food business operating across protein categories. Role overview
In this role, you will develop and grow sales performance across global beef and lamb categories, working closely with customers and suppliers to build long-term, value-driven partnerships. From day one, you will lead commercial strategy, shape supply chains and drive category growth while collaborating across operations, technical, category, planning and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities

Manage customer and supplier relationships to drive category performance

Develop and deliver long-term commercial and category strategies

Lead new product development and first-to-market innovation

Collaborate with marketing to track consumer trends and market performance

Support account development alongside internal commercial teams

Develop, execute and monitor new global supply chains where required

Manage NPD projects internally and with customers and suppliers

Own budgeting, forecasting, pricing confirmations and system updates

Produce analytics and performance reports with clear action plans
What you’ll bring
You bring strong experience in a commercial management role with proven customer and supplier leadership. In addition, you have deep knowledge of imported chilled and frozen global beef and lamb, including Australian, New Zealand and South American supply. You demonstrate strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to turn insight into action. You communicate confidently, influence at all levels and lead teams to deliver high performance. A full driving licence and flexibility for global travel are essential.
Pay, benefits and location
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Huntingdon, England. The salary is competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.
