Role overview

You will work in the loading bay, supporting inbound and outbound movements of goods. Duties include loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, and ensuring products are handled safely and accurately. You’ll follow site procedures for hygiene, temperature control and health & safety while working as part of a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently

• Check deliveries against paperwork and report discrepancies

• Move pallets using pump trucks or MHE (FLT if certified)

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the loading bay

• Follow food safety, H&S and site procedures at all times

• Support daily despatch schedules and time targets

What you’ll bring

You’re punctual, organised and comfortable working to deadlines. Previous experience in a loading bay, warehouse or food environment is helpful but not essential. You’re happy working in a chilled environment and can follow instructions accurately. An FLT licence is an advantage but not required.

Pay, hours and location

Competitive hourly rate based on experience (confirmed at shortlist stage). Full-time role with regular shifts. Location: Okehampton, Devon, with exact site details shared during screening.
